I guess other than the IV4 patch, this patch has given me the biggest MWO - woody of all time.

2 of my favourite mechs just got QUIRKED UP

Nice patch PGI well played


Less heat for my 8Q????

The Strikes Module Slot Change will probably be what most people remember most from this Patch and not in a good way..Now anyone who wants to spend the 80K and still keep their other modules can do so people will be chaining them it will be like everyone is in a LRM Boat( although limited) along with their regular Loadout

Jenner-K indirectly got the nerf bat... while technically the Jenner-F got a buff.

Yup, Jenner-K is now completely the worst Jenner, as opposed to being arguably the worst Jenner.

The Jenner-K actually got a buff in my book...

I had been taking: UAV (now consumable mod), Improved NARC (now weapon mod), 360 Target Retention, and Advanced Target Decay...

Now I can take all of those AND the Medium Laser mod (crappy for other builds, but on the -K with only 4 ML or 3ML and TAG, the heat is pretty negligible anyway) and a Strike.

So I get to use two more modules than I normally would have. Works for me.

I think they should put the shield arm on cents way more than +10 armor, or at least make the YLW have +30 or something

The thing is the -K is now just a -D with one less missile hardpoint. It's existence used to be (somewhat) justified by the additional module slot but now it's purely a filler mech that adds nothing the other Jenners don't cover.

And yet, heat is a bigger factor on the -D and the -F already, so the weapon mods are virtually useless on them, whereas they're much more worthwhile on the -K.

I'm not saying I wouldn't be pleased if they gave the -K a buff, such as an extra Mech module slot, or perhaps a quirk which gives a reduction to weapon cooldown or something, but this change isn't as bad as you guys are making out to be.

Which Jenner was the completely sucky one? I always forget cause THEY all look the same to me. Yes, I'm an anti-Jennerite! :(

People generally considered the -K the "sucky" one because it only has 1 missile hard point where as the -D had two (and both had 4 laser hardpoints).

The K. The Jenner-F is great for trolling you... :(

The best part of the quirks... the Catapult-A1 has more module slots than the Catapult-A1 Champion. GJ PGI!

I think you misunderstood, there is no load-out you can make on the -K that you can't replicate on the -D. If the -K was taken out of the game (assuming you already had the masteries) it would make zero difference to the options open to you.

They both still have atleast 4 (mech and consumable slots combined nothing really changed much.
